Robin, you were so lucky to catch the ospreys in flight. What a wonderful picture. I loved the eagle, too. Obviously, I'm a bird person. These two photos were heaven. Thanks for posting.

Who are some of your heroes?

Eleanor Roosevelt--Barbara Walters, although I think she's tarnishing her legacy by appearing on The View--Gloria Steinem. I'll add more as I think of them.

What are your passions?

Reading and Writing.

Recently saw "Mamma Mia" starring Meryl Streep - Excellent!

Have you read any good books lately or whenever?

To start with, I just read and reviewed Barbara Walters book, "Auditions," on my blog, francesellenspeaks.com, but I have a lot of favorite books: "Centennial" by James Michener, everything Dickens ever wrote, and believe it or not, I re-read "Last of the Mohicans" from time to time.
Lately, I've read "Water For Elephants" (wonderful) and I liked "Girl With a Dragon Tatoo."

What kind of music do you like?

I love the Oldies, of course, but I'm also a fan of Big Band, the Blues and some of the peaceful, laid-back New Age stuff.

At 10:42am on August 9, 2008, Frances Ellen said…: This weekend I intend to spend a lot of time bringing this community to its feet. I'm hopeful it won't be too "techie-hard" for me to accomplish. I can write, but I'm not on friendly terms with the inner workings of the computer. (My friend, Robin, who has also joined our community, can attest to that. She's another techie wizard.) We shall see. If I need guidance, Virginia will be hearing from me. And I'm expecting a visit from Robin next week, so I will get some feedback from her firsthand. That being said, I'm hopeful that I'll be able to expand our sign-in information and put one or two questions in the forum section.
